Birds in Flight Class

In this fun and innovative class you will learn how to create realistic 3-D birds. By combining different techniques and using glass paints and frit, you will be able to bring these beautiful birds to life!

Imagine hummingbirds with iridescent wings shimmering in the sunlight, a quail family gathered in your yard, blue jays darting to and fro. Transform your indoor or outdoor space into a magical place bursting with wildlife.  Patterns for several different birds will be provided.

You should be able to complete at least 2 birds during this workshop.   We will discuss how to make your own 3-D patterns and you will leave with the knowledge to create any bird you love.  Demonstrations on assembling the birds and creating invisible hangers to get desired effect of flight will be demonstrated.  If time allows, we will be demonstrating CBS Dichroic Extract.
