What you'll learn and experience.
Add crisp imagery to your glass work using silk screens! Learn how to mix the perfect consistency, pressing through the screen, temperatures to fire and proper cleaning instructions so the screens last. This paint is food safe and can be layered to create depth. Add further dimension and color variation with powder techniques and stencils. We have a wonderful selection of animals, Steampunk, trees, flowers, stylized designs, faceted designs, birds, bugs and so many more. We will discuss custom imagery and making your own screens. You will be hooked on this technique! Students will create a dish or wall hanging with imagery of their choice. This technique would make great inclusions for mosaic, stained glass and fused projects. All are welcome!
