What you'll learn and experience.
This one day intensive class is designed for stained glass artists who are ready to build on their foundational skills and explore a more creative, free form project. Students are encouraged to bring two copies of a pattern they would like to incorporate pressed flowers into, no larger than 12 x 12 inches. Instructor will also have patterns to pick from.
In this workshop, you will create a copper foiled stained glass project featuring pressed real flowers. We will cover techniques on how to successfully press your own flowers and then how to add pressed flowers to your glass art with avoiding rot. We will also cover how to thoughtfully integrate pressed flowers into your design + considerations of assembly and finishing techniques. This class allows creative freedom with guided instruction, giving you the space to create what you want while mastering how to incorporate pressed flowers in your future works.
